Mrs. Particia Stamand – B.A. Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL

Patricia Stamand (Student Services), Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL, B.A. in Elementary Education. Mrs. Stamand is married with two adult sons and 1 grandson. She loves to read, go to the beach, and travel in her spare time. Mrs. Stamand enjoys providing support to students, parents, and teachers at SJCS.

Mrs. Delia S. Lancaster – B.A. Mount Holyoke College

Delia S. Lancaster (Pre-Kindergarten-Eighth Grade Art Teacher), Mount Holyoke College, B.A. Mrs. Lancaster has enjoyed teaching at Saint Joseph Catholic School since 2006. In addition to teaching visual art classes, she facilitates middle school enrichment, acts as the school yearbook advisor and leads various elective courses. Mrs. Lancaster is married and has two teenage children. Outside of school she enjoys going to the beach, taking art classes, travelling with her family, and visiting art museums and galleries. She is thankful to be able to share her artistic interests with the wonderfully creative children of Saint Joseph Catholic School.

Ms. Ganio

Media Specialist

Ms. Sandra Ganio – B.S. Quinnipiac University of Connecticut

Sandra Ganio (Media Specialist).  Ms. Ganio has two daughters, both graduates of St. Joseph Catholic School, attending from Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade.  She has been involved in the school since 1994 as a volunteer, a classroom assistant, and teacher. In her spare time, Ms. Ganio is active in community theatre and cantors at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  St. Joseph has been a part of Ms. Ganio’s life for over 25 years – “it feels like home.”

Ms. Dorth

Ms. Cleusa van Dorth – M.M. University of Texas

Cleusa van Dorth (Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade Music Teacher), B.M. University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and M.M. University of Texas at San Antonio. Ms. Van Dorth has two daughters, one whom graduated from Saint Joseph Catholic School. She enjoys her family, music, performing for church services, teaching, children, travel, reading, watching movies and walking. Ms. Van Dorth joined the faculty at SJCS in 2006. She loves SJCS because she can teach the students to sing and perform music for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Rosario Hessen

Charo Hessen (Spanish Teacher Prekindergarten- Eighth Grades,  Religion Teacher sixth & seventh Grade) Brevard Community College; APEC University (Modern Languages Science); Universidad Dominicana O & M. Mrs. Hessen is married to Gary, and is the mother of Patricia and Timothy, both alumni of Saint Joseph Catholic School. Mrs. Hessen’s favorite things to do outside of school are spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading, singing, playing board games and working on Sudoku puzzles. She joined the SJCS faculty in 2000. Mrs. Hessen is the SJCS volleyball coach and facilitates a variety of middle school elective courses including scrap booking, cooking and gardening. She loves teaching at Saint Joseph Catholic School because it is wonderful to see the students grow and learn as members of a faith filled community. The team spirit of the staff is admirable. She cannot imagine herself working anywhere else.

Dr. Gilbert

Guidance Counselor

Dr. Rosemarie Gilbert – Ed.D. Nova Southeastern University

Rosemarie B. Gilbert (Guidance Counselor and School Psychologist) Ms. Gilbert has a Bachelor of Science degree from Kutztown University, B.A.; West Chester University M.A.; Nova Southeastern University, Ed.D. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed School Psychologist in Florida. She’s been practicing psychology since 1986 and working within the Diocese of Orlando since 1995. Dr. Gilbert’s son graduated from Saint Joseph Catholic School and is currently a senior at Melbourne Central Catholic High School. She values Catholic education and feels privileged to be a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic community.
