Grade 2

Ms. Kate Potchka – B.A. Ball State University

Kate has been teaching since 2015. She is originally from Fort Wayne, IN where she went to Catholic School through her high school years. Kate graduated with her BA in Elementary Education from Ball State University in Indiana. When she is not teaching, she enjoys coaching the SJC Girls’ Middle School Soccer Team, running, reading, and doing anything outside.

Mrs. Keimer

Grade 3

Mrs. Liz Keimer – B.A. Rutgers University, M.A. New York University

Liz Keimer has 20 years of teaching experience.  She lived in New Jersey before moving to Florida in 2000 with her family, which includes her husband and two children. Liz join the Saint Joseph Catholic School team in 2017. Liz enjoys ballroom dancing, acting and modeling in her free time. She is excited to be a part of the Saint Joseph Catholic Community.

Mrs. Ramirez

Grade 4

Mrs. Kristin Ramirez – B.S. State University of New York at New Paltz

Kristin Ramirez (Second Grade Teacher) She is married with two girls; Naomi Grace age 2 ½ and Lillian Beatrice, who attends Saint Joseph Catholic School since PreK in 2015. She loves to travel and read especially during school breaks. She has been teaching since 2005 and has taught kindergarten and fifth and sixth grades before coming to Saint Joseph’s to teach second grade. She loves working at Saint Joseph’s and finds everyone to be incredibly welcoming.

Ms. LoProto

Grade 5

Ms. Barbara LoProto – B.A. Patterson State College

Barbara LoProto (Fifth Grade Teacher and Sixth Grade Math Teacher), William Paterson College, New Jersey, B.A. Ms. LoProto joined the Saint Joseph Catholic School faculty in 1996. She loves to travel, spend time with her family, and go to the beach. Ms. LoProto is a Student Council advisor and assists with Science Fair. Both of her children are graduates of Saint Joseph Catholic School. Ms. LoProto enjoys teaching at SJCS because of the friendly helpful school families, faculty, and staff.
