Mrs. Ramirez

Grade 2

Mrs. Kristin Ramirez – B.S. State University of New York at New Paltz

Kristin Ramirez (Second Grade Teacher) She is married with two girls; Naomi Grace age 2 ½ and Lillian Beatrice, who attends Saint Joseph Catholic School since PreK in 2015. She loves to travel and read especially during school breaks. She has been teaching since 2005 and has taught kindergarten and fifth and sixth grades before coming to Saint Joseph’s to teach second grade. She loves working at Saint Joseph’s and finds everyone to be incredibly welcoming.

Ms. Amara

Grade 3

Ms. Jessie Amara – B.A. University of North Florida

Ms. Jessie Amara (Third Grade Teacher) was a new teacher in 2014 and is excited to continue her career teaching at the very school she attended.  Ms. Amara and her two sisters all graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School.  Ms. Amara loves teaching at SJCS because of the caring and helpful faculty (many who are her former teachers), and the overall community the school provides for its students, families, and faculty.   Ms. Amara is the B Team Volleyball coach for St. Joseph’s.

Ms. Jones

Grade 4

Ms. Jan Jones – B.S. Cabrini Catholic College

Jan Jones (Fourth Grade Teacher) Ms. Jones has three adult children and five grandchildren. She enjoys reading, going to the beach, fishing, decorating, cooking, traveling and working out. Ms. Jones loves teaching at Saint Joseph Catholic School because of the family community feeling as well being able to teach the “whole” child.

Ms. LoProto

Grade 5

Ms. Barbara LoProto – B.A. Patterson State College

Barbara LoProto (Fifth Grade Teacher and Sixth Grade Math Teacher), William Paterson College, New Jersey, B.A. Ms. LoProto joined the Saint Joseph Catholic School faculty in 1996. She loves to travel, spend time with her family, and go to the beach. Ms. LoProto is a Student Council advisor and assists with Science Fair. Both of her children are graduates of Saint Joseph Catholic School. Ms. LoProto enjoys teaching at SJCS because of the friendly helpful school families, faculty, and staff.
